Doing solo travelling does not mean being alone forever. Travelling alone could be the right moment to meet new people and make new friends along the road. If choose the right country to visit, tourists could enjoy traversing safely and comfortably. Here are the countries that are best for solo travelling:

1. New Zealand

New Zealand is best for solo travellers who enjoy nature, hiking and camping. The country offers a breathtaking panorama of green hills, stunning glaciers and beautiful lakes.

Tourists can opt for country road trips with several stops in small towns and strategic places along the way. The country is relatively easy to navigate, so it won't matter if locals couldn't show the way.

3. Thailand

If looking for a solo trip that begins alone and ends with a list of new friends that keeps growing, Thailand might be the go-to destination. The country of Thailand has long been the number one destination for young backpackers. This is due to the country having affordable cuisine, easy navigation, and friendly people who could speak English.

By booking accommodation in hostels, tourists could make new friends in no time. The friendly atmosphere with fellow tourists and locals make Thailand feel like home, even if it's only a few days there.

Japan has wide and well-timed transportation that could bring travellers anywhere and everywhere when start to get used to it. 5. Costa Rica

Locals are cheerful and would welcome any tourist, including solo travellers with open arms.
